1948 GILLETTE ARISTOCRAT Safety Razor w Original
CaseRICHARDS RAZORS; MAKE ME AN OFFER I CAN'T
REFUSE! This razor is in very good+ working
condition. There is no plate loss. See photos. The
TTO knobworks well and the doors open smoothly and
close tightly. 1948 Gillette Aristocrat with
acontainer of vintage blades. This great razor
comes in a brown leather covered box with
maroonvelvet interior. The case is 3 1/2 inches by
3 inches and the razor is 3 1/4 inches long. All
the gold platinglooks excellent with no
discoloration or scratches. The case has one very
small spot of vintagewear that most probably will
wash off when cleaned by the new owner, it can be
seen in the pictures,otherwise the case is in great
condition with no scratches, cuts or dings. 1948
Gillette GoldAristocrat safety razor and it's case
are in very good+ vintage condition. Some consider
this the gold standard of DE shavers. These razors
are well built and givewonderful shaves. The size
and weight of these razors provide great balance and
makes shaving apleasure. Great care was taken in
the cleaning and sanitation of this razor. Here is

razors.HISTORY: Spanning approximately 70 years,
the Aristocrat name plate was the longest running of
theGillette line of DE razors and, in my opinion,
was their flagship razor. True, more upscaleand
pricier sets were made, but only for short periods
of time, while the Aristocrat enjoyedfairly steady
production until a decade long break from 1951 to
1961. This appears to have beena very popular razor
