1945 Shake Sharp Razor MINT W/Case and Gold plated

REFUSE!This is a rare vintage 1945 Shake Sharp Razor
in MINT condition. Self sharpening feature
honesdouble edge blades without removing them from
the razor. A wonderful piece. This one is in
Mintcondition. The case, as can be seen in the
pictures, is also in MINT condition, not even a
scratchon it. This fantastic kit looks to be
unused. Great gold plating. The original satin
linedleather case is also in MINT condition. No
outside scuffing and a good spring operated lid.
This razor has the distinction of being able to use
any standard DE blade and has a built inhone, when
you flick the razor forward it causes the mechanism
to slide the hone across the blade.It is a slightly
aggressive razor. I have used one before and being
careful and taking my time Iended up with one of the
best shaves that I have ever had. The razor has a
concave depression inthe front edge it is the design

Freil of Long Island NY., it has a built in stone
that whenyou shake it, it hones and sharpens itself.
The description for the razor says that the hone is
adiamond dust hone. Also, these razors came either
all metal (chrome plated, or gold plated) orwith a
gold plated head with a black plastic or bakelite
handle. Shake Sharp razors can only usedouble edge
blades. One blade edge is exposed at a time. SE
blades will not fit. These razorswere design for
use with double edge blades. They even slightly
curve the blades when inserted tohelp to keep them
from flexing. There are no cutouts to support the
use of a GEM type blade or anAutoStrop blade. These
are great shavers that will never be made
