Basketball schedule with the final scores marked in
fountain pen by the original owner, Henry Stephens
III. Harvard did not even field a basketball team
until 1900 so this is an extremely rare early
collectible. Measures about 2 3/4 by 4 inches. The
back is blank. Yellowed but in excellent condition
with no creases. After losing 7 of their first 8
games and being outscored 190-115, the team
apparently canceled the final three games. Stephens
sarcastically wrote Very Successful Season at the
bottom but obviously still kept this as a souvenir.
