Pair of Sergio Tacchini tennis shoes worn during the
1990 WTA Tour season by retired superstar Gabriela
Sabatini, both shoes autographed in black marker,
and one shoe is dated 1990. This was the year that
Sabatini won the U.S. Open, the only Grand Slam win
of her career. Sabatini was wearing very similar
(but not identical) model shoes when she beat Steffi
Graf to win the title. THIS IS A RARE EXAMPLE OF
GAME WORN EQUIPMENT FROM ONE OF THE SPORT'S
MOST POPULAR PLAYERS (a 2006 International Tennis
Hall of Fame inductee). OBVIOUSLY ONLY ONE PAIR
